In this event Biomedical Engineering degree students from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) about to graduate are due to present and defend their bachelor thesis (BT). Whether professionally- or research-oriented, these works cover a wide range of topics from biomechanics, computational modelling, medical devices, biomedical image analysis to synthetic biology, competences acquired during the degree. 

The Biomedical Engineering Congress event consists of a collection of these works in a form of oral defense of about 20 minutes, in which each student will present orally their BT to the commission and to the public.

 

 

The congress will be held from July 11th to July 13th. The partition of the talks will be based on the topics. 

 

 

 

The event's location will be at the auditorium of campus UPF Poblenou on Roc Boronat 138, Barcelona. It is prepared with the equipment necessary for organizing conferences (projectors, fixed desktop and lectern microphone, public address system for the room…) and has a total capacity of 208 seats. The capacity will be altered and reduced due to COVID-19 situation. Alternatively, the event will be streamed in real time from a virtual platform.
