Why do we process your data and what is the legal ground for that processing?

Purpose: manage your registration for this activity. Send you emails / push notifications confirming your registration, including additional information or possible modifications. Manage certificates of attendance and dissemination of the event through photographs and/or recordings, if applicable. Legitimation: consent of the person concerned. It can be removed at any time.

How long will we retain your data?

1.- The data related to the registration of users at the event will be kept as long as the event exists. 2.- The data related to the certification of attendance and / or achievement of the event will be kept indefinitely unless you oppose the processing or exercise the right of deletion. In this case, you expressly waive the possibility of accrediting the participation in the future and / or the fact that the organization can verify it in front of any third party. 3.- The data related to the capture of photographs and/ or recordings for public dissemination will be processed for this purpose until they are removed from public display, and will then be processed according to the archival criteria. In any case, once the processing has ended, the data will be kept blocked for a maximum period of two years only for compliance with the legally established obligations.

Recipients of your data.

Your personal data may be processed by Pompeu Fabra University, by Symposium (SYMPOSIUM BY EMAGISTER SL), a company providing the technology platform, and by other companies providing auxiliary services to the information society: European companies, American companies that abide by the Privacy Shield personal data protection agreement or companies in countries that offer adequate guarantees, in accordance with Article 46 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except within the terms of law.
