We emphasize not only the importance of conducting scientifically sound public-opinion research, but also how this information can be useful to society and its various publics.</span></span></p>

 <span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The <strong><span style="color:#990000;">Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology</span> (<a href="https://www.upf.edu/survey/centre.html">RECSM</a>)</strong> is a multidisciplinary centre focusing on research in survey methodology (questionnaire design, evaluation of survey questions, fieldwork strategies and supervision, interviewer effects), survey data analysis (political behavior, statistical models for the social sciences, studies of social demography, behavioral and experimental studies and labor market studies), and experimental and quasi-experimental design.It is formed by different research groups and researchers which are part of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the Pompeu Fabra University.</span></span></p>
