5th DCEXS Symposium on Quantitative Biology: a systems-level approach to life

Poster competition

A maximum of 50 posters featuring studies in the field of biomedical research with specific focus on Systems Biology will be selected for display during the Symposium by the organizing committee.

  

 Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students can participate.

  

 Abstract:

 To enter the competition, please send an abstract by the 10th of September to <a href="mailto:simposi.dcexs@upf.edu">simposi.dcexs@upf.edu</a>. 

  

 Abstracts and posters must be in English following this format:

 1. Poster Title.

 2. Name Surname1, Name Surname2...

 3. First author address; 2 Second author address…

 4. Topic overview: if you go for the Introduction / Results / Conclusions format please use appropriate headers for these paragraphs and separate each paragraph with a single space.

 5. References.

  

 Posters do not have to be an original work. Please mention in your application if the work is original or not, and if not, when and where it has been presented. 

  

 All abstracts will be evaluated by a board of reviewers selected by the DCEXS Scientific Committee.

  

 You will receive an email informing you whether your proposal has been selected for the poster competition. 

  

 Poster:

  

 Posters should be vertical (not horizontal) and their size should be limited to 130 cm x 90 cm (height x width).

  

 There will be a fantastic prize for the winners of the poster competition!
