This conference aims at getting to know the importance of Catalan Sign Language (LSC) as a part of the linguistic heritage of Catalonia, as well as its situation in the different areas of society and the actions taken by the University in order to promote Catalan Sign Language studies.
Moreover, it also aims at initiating attendees into this language through experiential workshops: Basic Communication, Finger spelling, and Deaf Community.
