 <span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12px;">A <strong>maximum of 50 posters </strong>featuring studies in the field of <span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">biomedical research with specific focus on innovative <em>in silico</em> strategies.</span></span> They will be selected for display during the Symposium by the organizing committee.</span></span></p>

 <span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12px;">- </span></span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">To enter the competition, </span><strong style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">please send an abstract by the 16th of November </strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">to </span><a href="mailto:simposi.dcexs@upf.edu" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">simposi.dcexs@upf.edu</a><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">. Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students can participate.</span></p>

 <span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12px;">4) Topic overview: if you go for the Introduction / Results / Conclusions format please use appropriate headers for these paragraphs and separate each paragraph with a single space.</span></span></p>

 <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">- To ease evaluation, we recommend submitting abstracts with introduction, results and conclusions accessible to an audience familiar with</span><strong style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> </strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">innovative <em>in silico</em> strategies in biomedical research</span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> but without being an expert in any particular field.</span></p>

 <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">- </span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">All abstracts will be evaluated by a board of reviewers selected by the Scientific Committee.</span></p>
<p>
 <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">- </span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Posters should be vertical (not horizontal) and their size should be limited to 130 cm x 90 cm (height x width).</span></p>
<p>
 <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">- </span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Posters do not have to be an original work. Please mention in your application if the work is original or not, and if not, when and where it has been presented. </span></p>

 <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">You will receive an email informing you whether your proposal has been selected for the poster competition. </span></p>
