The winner of the poster competition will get an iPad
A maximum of 50 posters featuring studies in the field of biomedical research with specific focus on innovative in silico strategies. They will be selected for display during the Symposium by the organizing committee.
- To enter the competition, please send an abstract by the 16th of November to simposi.dcexs@upf.edu. Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students can participate.
- Abstracts and posters must be in English following this format:
1) Poster Title
2) Name Surname1, Name Surname2...
3) First author address; 2 Second author address…
4) Topic overview: if you go for the Introduction / Results / Conclusions format please use appropriate headers for these paragraphs and separate each paragraph with a single space.
5) References
- To ease evaluation, we recommend submitting abstracts with introduction, results and conclusions accessible to an audience familiar with innovative in silico strategies in biomedical research but without being an expert in any particular field.
- All abstracts will be evaluated by a board of reviewers selected by the Scientific Committee.
- Posters should be vertical (not horizontal) and their size should be limited to 130 cm x 90 cm (height x width).
- Posters do not have to be an original work. Please mention in your application if the work is original or not, and if not, when and where it has been presented.
You will receive an email informing you whether your proposal has been selected for the poster competition.
