 ESSLLI Excursions</h2>

 You can choose from among the excursions listed below by clicking on the "Register" button to your right. You will then be sent to a page with that says "ESSLLI Excursions", with a dropdown menu again on the right for indicating the number of registrations. Just leave that number at 1, even if you plan to enroll more than one person in an excursion. You can enroll up to 4 people in a single excursion.

 When you've finished and paid, note that you will receive 2 emails from eventum@upf.edu. One just says that you've registered for an event (whose name unfortunately also includes the instructions we provide you on the registration page - please forgive this consequence of not using entirely customizable software); the other -- whose subject line is in Catalan -- says which excursion(s) you've registered and paid for. The first mail is pretty useless - the second one is the one you want to keep.

 1. Kayaking and snorkeling on the Costa Brava

 NOTE!! CURRENTLY ONLY THE SUNDAY OPTION IS AVAILABLE. NOTE THAT THE SUNDAY TRIP IS NOW SCHEDULED FOR THE AFTERNOON.

 Saturday, Aug. 8 (morning), or Sunday, Aug. 9 (afternoon, meeting at 13.45h), depending on demand - NOTE! When you select this activity, please choose the option that matches the date(s) that you are able to participate. We will schedule the activity according to demand. There is a 20 person minimum. If there is enough interest, we'll schedule 2 trips, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. 
 Bus trip to Sagaró, instructions and equipment included.  
 Price: 49€

 
 2. The Paella Cooking Experience 
 Learn how to make a paella, sangría, and that classic Catalan tapa, "pa amb tomàquet" (bread with tomato), then enjoy the result for dinner!  
 Saturday, August 8, starting at 17h 
 Price: 17.50€

 
 3. Tour of Cava Freixenet 
 Sunday, August 9, 10-15.30h approx. 
 Train r/t from Barcelona, tour of Cava Freixenet, and glass of cava included. 
 Price: 9.50€ 

 
 4. Bike Tour of Barcelona 
 Sunday, August 9, 15.30 or 16.20 (see ESSLLI web for details)-19.30h 
 Price: 18€
