The University is a fertile environment for findings that can contribute to the progress of Society. To achieve this impact, however, it is necessary to take into consideration the legal protection of the results of the research activity. In order to offer useful information about Patents, the main legal tool to protect Inventions, the Innovation Unit - UPF Business Shuttle is offering the seminar 'Would you like to exploit your research? Discover the value of patents'.

 In the session, a European Patent Attorney will explain what Patents are, which advantages do they offer compared to other types of protection, and in what cases they can be used. In addition, a researcher will explain his experience in protecting the results of his research at the University.

 The session is open to the entire university community, but especially addressed to UPF researchers and Phd students.
