VPH SummerSchool May, 22nd  – May, 26th, 2017

  

 The target of these EU projects is let the doctoral candidates develop skills inside and outside academia that respond to public and private sector needs.The project specifically has to organize several workshops which are to be open to external communities and advertised in major conferences (Miccai, Isbi, EuroEcho, ...). The content of these workshops will cover cardiovascular physiopathology, ultrasound-based quantification of cardiac function, cardiovascular modelling and VPH technologies and validation in cardiac image processing.

  

 The 2nd Barcelona VPH Summer School will be organized in Barcelona, between May 22nd and May 26th, 2017 and will provide a thorough overview and hands-on experience in state-of-the-art Virtual Physiological Human (VPH) research. The key concepts of this methodological and technological framework will be presented using illustrative cases and enriched with hands-on analysis under supervision of the experts.

  

 The Summer School is jointly organised by the Philips - UPF CardioFunXion Marie Curie European Industrial Doctorate Program and The Virtual Physiological Human Institute, and the support of the Spanish Network of Excellence in Biomechanics.
