What are cookies?

Why do we process your data and what is the legal ground for that processing?

Purpose: sign up for the Eventum platform to send you information about academic, sporting and cultural events organized by UPF by sending emails or push notifications to your mobile phone. Legitimation: consent of the person concerned. It can be removed at any time.

How long will we retain your data?

Your data will be processed as long as the communication is valid. Once the processing is revoked or a right of deletion of the data is exercised, the processing of personal data will end. A copy of the data may be kept for a maximum of 2 years only for the fulfillment of the legally established obligations.

Recipients of your data.

Your personal data may be processed by Pompeu Fabra University, by Symposium (SYMPOSIUM BY EMAGISTER SL), a company providing the technology platform, and other companies providing auxiliary services to the information society: European companies, American companies that abide by the Privacy Shield personal data protection agreement or companies in countries that offer adequate guarantees, in accordance with Article 46 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except within the terms of law.

How can you exercise your rights?

You can access your data, request its rectification or deletion, object to the treatment and request its limitation, by written communication addressed to the University Manager (gerencia@upf.edu). You can contact the University Data Protection Officer (dpd@upf.edu) for questions related to your data.

You have the right to file a complaint with the Catalan Data Protection Authority (https://apdcat.gencat.cat/).
