We particularly seek papers that take stock personally, institutionally, locally and globally. As individuals and scholars/practitioners we’ve had two decades now to get a handle on how we’ve done to date and where we might be going. Every year we’ve been graced with some of the most respected academics of the field. Many of these conferences have been organized by the UPF (University Pompeu Fabra), the UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya) and the University of Waikato.  <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">The first edition of this conference was held in 2010 and since then it has been celebrated annually in Barcelona. Every year we receive presentations from some of the most respected scholars and our tenth anniversary theme is: <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: italic; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Taking stock: 2020 visions on the critical, historic, contemporary and future challenges of PR. <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Proposals addressing – and even challenging – the overall theme are warmly invited. Conventional papers on any aspect of public relations will also be considered. Please feel free to contact the organizers directly if you wish to discuss the relevance of any proposal.
